Seems like I have spent my entire life in and around radio stations in my home state of Alabama as well as Tennessee and Georgia. I joined the staff at what was to become My Country, 30 years ago and have hung around since! While a lot of folks my age are thinking retirement, I am still enjoying being behind the mic!

Chad Mann

Chad is your “Mann in motion” for the afternoon commute, daily on MY COUNTRY. His broadcasting career began in Macon, GA. After attending the local community college, Chad settled down and started a family with his wife of 25 years, Jodi. Together, they have four children and four grandchildren. Family is the fuel that motivates Chad on your RIDE HOME! A veteran of the industry, he has over 20 years of fond memories stored up from experience garnered in Atlanta, Macon, Lagrange and here... in MY COUNTRY.

Chad’s handiwork has also drawn recognition from the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Nomination Committee, Country Music Hall of Fame's "Poets and Prophets" and Dothan (Alabama)'s Downtown Music Fest to list a few. Along the way, Chad additionally made strides for non-profit organizations in being the Chair for Hall County's Relay for Life, Master of Ceremonies for the Special Olympics of Georgia Fall Games, Public Relations Chair for the Rotary Club of Hall County, President of the Georgia Alliance of School Resource Officers and Educators. He has enjoyed organizing events for the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes and entertaining at Gainesville (Georgia's) Action Dash, Hall is Home For Kids Christmas Party, the Pickens County Sheriff’s Jeepfest, Callaway Gardens Annual Car Show and Balloon Glow, the City of Jefferson’s annual Father and Daughter Dance as well as many other outstanding events.

Most recently (2008), he embarked upon a successful career in Law Enforcement. Chad’s talents and skills has proven to be a necessity for the agencies which he has had the pleasure of serving. He is presently a School Resource Officer, with many certifications in Public Information and Crime Prevention. Regardless of the call to ensure public safety or to exhibit proficiency in entertaining, Chad’ integrity, talent and reputation speak volumes in his capability to communicate and to serve the community in MY COUNTRY!
